Q:Did you wear foundation when you were on accutane? And did it look really bad and flakey? x
I did wear and it did look really bad and flakey :) but I tried exfoliating with a wash cloth soaked in warm water in gentle, circular moves all over the problem areas and it was getting better the texture of the skin; if you want to try it, do this in shower, after, let’s say, you washed your hair; and that is because you gotta let your skin soften from the hot air formed in shower, so is easier to exfoliate the skin; I was having this method explained in detail in one of my older posts! Good luck!
Awwwww so sweet of you, guya, to compliment recent photos😘 it really putted a big smile on my face! Shame that some of you have no option for messages 😞 I would have loved to thank you in a private message;
I’m starting to love the tanned skin feeling! This is a no filter/effect snap, just some light makeup; though I like this self-tanning lotion from Vichy which I use now, I noticed that it does turn a bit orangey if I apply 2 layers; I was looking into St. Tropez ones and, Jesus, they are so expensive!
Oh, and working without getting paid doesn’t help at all :((
Started my practice in a coffee shop and I really am so happy for that! Maybe is not a big deal for some, but all happens with a reason in life, and I’m sure this will help me to know and understand better how everything works in a coffee shop , as I would love to open my own in the future😁
Q:Is Accutane a proscribed acne treatment or is it available in UK stores?
It gotta be prescribed! It is a very dangerous medicine if not taken as recommended by a doc;
Q:We're there any complications or bad side effects during your ongoing treatment? I'm currently having to fight to be allowed to do the treatment because I'm not classed as a 'severe case' ie I don't have boils, and I read that it can effect you if you exersise a lot (I stand at work and walk around for 14 hours a day), and I just want an opinion from someone who's doing the treatment rather than a wiki page in google
Well, there is a long list of side effects and complications which can occur; in my case, I was lucky and didn’t have many side effects; the most common were headaches, body aches such as back, muscles, general tiredness, joint pain, dry skin and lips, I had once or twice a nosebleed, light eczema, sensitive to sun(but that I am anyway as my skin is very fair); these are some which I remember I had; many say their hair falls lot during the treatment, which didn’t happen to me; but my hair started falling more AFTER I finished the treatment :)) regarding exercising/standing, yea, maybe you should take it lightly, but as your job is to do so, try to relax when you get at home. Don’t forget to drink lot of water, eat more healthy, have a positive attitude and actually believe that the treatment will work, because it will work!! Good luck, dear/darling!
Q:And also you're recommending other products to people as if you're a skin specialist , what works for you isn't necessarily going to work for others.
If I recommended the tea tree oil was because is a natural product and I wouldn’t use the word “recommend” if I didn’t know that it is safe to use; plus, yea, what works for me might not work for others, but if they don’t try it out, how they will know it doesn’t work for them? I wouldn’t advise the people to try things who will put their skin to danger, but as the tea tree oil is a natural product, not only used for acne, and can be afforded by teenagers as well as it comes in small bottles, why not?
Q:I seen you comment to someone saying, their acne was not severe enough for Accutane. I thought it was abit out of line of you, yes you've had acne and been on the drug but you're not a skin specialist and you're in no way any position to tell someone wether they are untitled to take a drug or either need to. Photos are perceived on the internet as not what they seem to be in real life, I believe you captioned this in one of yours. So for you to tell someone it isn't bad.....
Ok, well, honestly I don’t even remember the comment you are talking about; and even if I said so, I am sure that I did it just so they feel better regarding their acne and also to feel less conscious outside tumblr;
Q:Hi! I am currently on accutane and saw that you used tea tree oil for a pimple, which I have tried before but it only brought the pimple to a head and nothing else. Do you dilute it in any way, and if so with what? Thanks!
Hmm, I don’t dilute it with anything; I just dabb it with my finger on the pimple;
I don’t know what to say about what happened to you, maybe it wasn’t pure tea tree oil? Or maybe you applied it too late, as in not in the first hours of it appearing?
