Q:Hi! I was just wondering what dosis did you took. Your skin looks beautiful.
I started for first month with 20mg/day and then increased to 40mg/day for the the next 5 months!
Thank you! It means a lot to me
Q:if youre accutane journey ended then why does your "about description" have you still on it til this december
Buahahhaha so silly I am! I swear that just now I saw :)) gonna change it
Q:Hi, I'm loving reading your blog. I've just started my treatment I'm three weeks in. What make up did you use? I'm breaking out, but my skin is super dry!
I experimented lot, but a foundation should be applied on exfoliated and hydrated skin; sure, you shouldn’t exfoliate everyday as it will make your skin sensitive, but when you do it, do it right! I got a post on how to exfoliate with just a wash cloth, olive oil and hot water! Give it a go :) good luck!
Q:Do you know of any high coverage foundations that don't clog pores/ make acne worse at all?
Someone suggested me Bourjois healthy serum foundation; is hydrating but doesn’t feel oily or so; give it a try. Thought make sure your skin is exfoliated properly and hydrated; use gentle cleansers and do not pick at your pimples!!
Q:i've read that one of the side effects of accutane is hair loss. can it be permanent or is it just during the treatment or right after you're done with the treatment?
Well, I must say that everyone is different! For me it started the hair loss long after I finished accutane, but I really can’t blame it for that; you make sure that you eat healthy and drink lot of water! I suppose that once you loose hair, it can grow back if you eat like nuts or so; I take fish oil everyday, which is really great, and my hair still falls; I guess it has to do also with stress as my work can get sometimes really stressfull; i know everyone says that ou gotta have a positive thinking and a healthy body so you can be good inside and then automaticallu you will feel and look good outside too! Maybe you can try different moisturing hair masks or apply olive oil or almond oil on your hair and leave it for 1 hr; i use to do so every now and then, but it really depends on so many other things, not just accutane! Good luck, babe!
Dry, peeling, flakey skin? Try this!!
Q:Did you wear foundation when you were on accutane? And did it look really bad and flakey? x
I did wear and it did look really bad and flakey :) but I tried exfoliating with a wash cloth soaked in warm water in gentle, circular moves all over the problem areas and it was getting better the texture of the skin; if you want to try it, do this in shower, after, let’s say, you washed your hair; and that is because you gotta let your skin soften from the hot air formed in shower, so is easier to exfoliate the skin; I was having this method explained in detail in one of my older posts! Good luck!
Awwwww so sweet of you, guya, to compliment recent photos😘 it really putted a big smile on my face! Shame that some of you have no option for messages 😞 I would have loved to thank you in a private message;
I’m starting to love the tanned skin feeling! This is a no filter/effect snap, just some light makeup; though I like this self-tanning lotion from Vichy which I use now, I noticed that it does turn a bit orangey if I apply 2 layers; I was looking into St. Tropez ones and, Jesus, they are so expensive!
Oh, and working without getting paid doesn’t help at all :((
